A quick look into Mr. Roberts neighborhood, and it's quite ugly.....

Perhaps, the key to attack him isn't abortion, but civil rights. Roberts was one of Reagan's henchmen  who systematically sought to overturn all types of Civil Rights laws and legislation, from affirmative action to Title IX. This article hints that his propensity to rewrite exisiting legal statutes early in his carrer may make him unfit for the bench now.

Now if we can just get around his defense that 'he was just working for the man, and those weren't necessarily HIS views...'

That's why Bush is hiding documents (none / 0)

There is very little question that Roberts has something to hide and Bush is helping him hide it. The GOPERS settled the question about whether WH lawyers have attorney client privilege in the Clinton impeachment. The fact that they are even suggesting that any of Roberts documents are privileged is proof that Roberts has something to hide.

I think abortion rights is the weakest attack on Roberts. His racist opinions on affirmative action and his 8-10 day role in the 2000 Supreme Court appointment of Bush to be President are my favorite lines of attack.

I saw a wingnut editorial a day or two that tried to use the Henry Hyde defense of youthful indiscretion. Apparently GOPERS aren't full grown adults until they are at least 50.
